I received my fireplace two days ago. It was packed very well, however when I took it out of the box and inspected it there was a 3 inch crack in the wood on the lower wood trim. The cabinet is made of very inferior wood and looks cheap on close inspection. The actual heater itself works fine, as advertised. If I had known that this heater was made in China, I would not have bought it.

THIS FIREPLACE IS AWESOME. REMOTE CONTROL, THE FIRE LOOKS REAL. KEEPS THE HOUSE VERY WARM. MY FURNACE IS HARDLY RUNNING AT ALL. I WILL MORE THEN GLADLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
