The fire is very nice but the remote doesn`t work that well.
When you try to adjust the heater up or down it doesn`t respond.
I am happy with it tho the fire is nice , I just change the heater manually.

This item is great for the price and exceeded my expectations. The flames and logs look realistic and the glass frame looks great. The only reason that I rated it a 4 is because we have it mounted under a flat screen TV and the heat vent is on the top of the fireplace...we made a metal redirect for the heat and painted it black. I wish it was designed with the vents on the sides.

I was looking for a smaller fireplace when I happened upon this unit at our local Menard's store.

I'm not looking for a heater. I'm only interested in having a wonderful looking fireplace in the bedroom.

Electric heat is never cheap that's why I have fuel oil or propane for the furnace. I use a Procomm 5 unit radiant (not blue flame) heater which is 99.9% efficient.

So I have no opinion on the heating abilities of the unit. I simply do not use it for heat.

I love the appearance of the flame and the ability to have it at four different levels of brightness.

In my opinion, it looks beautiful and I'm very happy with its appearance.

I paid a buck thirty nine for this unit on sale so the price was great.

My only gripe with it that it is pretty wide... about 4 - 5 inches and it looks a bit odd sticking off the wall that far. Other than that it's fine and I have gotten used to the look of it on the wall... Read more
